Enigma was established in October 1999. Over the past ten years we have seen our company grow consistently in terms of customers, staff and depth of technical experience. We have benefited from positive cash balances since 2002 and have zero short or long-term borrowings. Customers new and old can deal with Enigma safe in the knowledge that we are a stable, financially sound company fully capable of fulfilling their business IT requirements.
Without exception, all prospective employees must already be Microsoft Certified and sit rigorous technical tests, just to prove they have the skills required to support our customers. Once they join the company, our continuous improvement program means that they have training and certification targets that they must achieve each year. This guarantees to our customers that their IT infrastructures are in the safest hands possible.
All employees are certified by Microsoft to various levels including: Certified Professional, Certified Desktop Support Technician, Certified Systems Administrator, Certified Systems Engineer, Small Business Specialist, and Licensing Sales Specialist.
We also ensure that our employees are trained in other skills such as first aid, fire safety and manual handling.
In addition to being technically competent, we interview for people skills as well. After all, it's no use employing a customer facing technician who's unable to explain technical issues in plain English.
Our employees all operate under the company ethos of 'at all times treat the customer as you would have them treat you'. This includes ensuring that we sell the correct products, suitable for the business need and budget, which comply with all legal and licensing requirements.
Operating from Kettering we are well placed for access to the A14, M1, A1 and M11. Existing customers range from as far west as Shropshire; as far north as Derby; as far east as Cambridge and as far south as Essex. A typical customer is within a hundred mile radius of our main office.
We have a wide range of reference sites available that demonstrate our ability to deliver solutions on time and to budget. Prospective customers can choose from a number of sites that closest match their size, business need or vertical market.
At its heart, Enigma is an IT support and services company. We do not claim to do everything or know everything. We are not a one-stop shop, nor do we want to be.
We have always believed in sticking to what we're good at and employing partners to do the rest.
The small, select, group of partners that we employ, have been chosen on their proven ability to continually supply our customers with the level of service that we expect. Our relationship with our partners involves no financial gain for us and is based strictly upon the delivery of quality.
